Join us June 21 – June 25, 2023, East Jordan Freedom Festival!
Often referred to as the pride and joy of the East Jordan Community, the Freedom Festival truly is one of the area’s favorite summer events. Freedom, family, and friendship are celebrated during the five-day event. The festival features a “home-town” old-fashioned Friday Night Block Party with food, music, and games for all ages, a Youth Parade, a Grand Parade, Kids Activities, a Carnival, a multitude of entertainers and musicians, food booths, and a spectacular fireworks display shot from a barge on the beautiful South Arm of Lake Charlevoix on Saturday evening at dusk.

Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Dusk (around 9:30 PM)
Movie: Sonic 2
Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, family, friends, neighbors or co-workers, and head to the Adult Softball Field (across from Marty’s Dairy Grille) to enjoy a FREE outdoor movie – PG rated. Come down early, stake your ground, and have some fun.
Movie will begin at sundown (around 9:30 pm) and will be shown under the stars on a huge, inflatable screen with a state-of-the-art projection and sound system. The movie is free and family-friendly.

There are no fancy magical boxes that do the magic for her. Jania and her skilled dexterity create wonders of magic that your audience will enjoy. Completely choreographed to music, Jania commands cards, billiard balls and jewelry to appear and disappear at the tips of her fingers.
